since june

it's been some time. things happened.
juniors- came end of june. some are comically over-serious, some disturbingly shrewd (she asked me for a refund for my books, bgr) some annoyingly cute, some not-as-cute. was looking for juniors from tmn sea, was disappointed until today when a slim, big-eyed chick sat next to me on the bus. "er, are you from tmn sea? you look kinda familar". and so, i was spotted by a junior. satisfaction.
weird encounters with strangers- MY, HC and i were in Asia club playing foos when two guys walked over and asked if they could join. seeing that one of them was kinda cute, we relented. but after that, they lingered and asked us to play pool. to make things worse, 2-3 more of them came over after that. the only thing going through MY's head at that time was "gang rape" =p anywayz, they introduced themselves as italian and iranian, but amazingly, ALL of them talked among themselves in the same foreign tongue. hmm, didn't know the italians had linguistic ties with the mid easterns. big guys started asking MY and HC funny questions regarding their love life, water and dinner. call me paranoid, but yours truly just stared warily around and looked as anti social as possible. anywayz, the game ended and so did the encounter.
INTEC- cumulation of tiny things, such as getting a dress for Nite, song practice, cal test, misc.
WOTW- rox my sox.
rice- mom has suddenly switched to decievingly white rice which is dry and unpolished tasting. gross. tastes like sand.
immunizations- uni requires all students to be rubella, rubeola, tetanus/diphteria, mumps, and preferbably chicken pox, polio and meningitis- proof. so that means a trip to the doctor to see how my antibodies were doing. turns out that i needed a blood titre to check and 2 chicken pox jabs over a span of 6 weeks. i suddenly had a surging fear of needles. too late anyway. i was poked twice in the arm, and squeezed a bit (she couldn't get enough blood for the titre). and i have to go back on fri or so to check out the titre results, and prolly for a mumps and meningitis jab. another 6 weeks, and another one for chicekn pox again. that;s 5 jabs in total, assuming my hep B antibodies are doing fine. overall a less than pleasant experience. next time when i'm a immunologist i will create a vaccine tat immunizes everyone against EVERYTHING FOREVER with just one jab.
that's all i can think off for now. write more next time. ciao.
